Printing Technology. Expensive machine = good quality?
Our 64″ wide format printer features a 2880 dpi engine with a 9-color inkset that creates stunning output on just about any media. This exceptional machine prints rich blacks, absolutely smooth gradients and vivid color. Unlike 4 and 6 color plotters, solvent, latex, or UV machines used by many print shops, our output has no visible dot pattern even in the lightest highlights, and features remarkably neutral, consistent color regardless of the light source. With many times the the resolution of solvent, latex & UV machines, there is no comparison for reproduction of subtle detail.

That $250,000.00 printer that’s supposed to be the next big thing? Less than half the resolution, produces a visible dot pattern, prints change color under different light sources, and has a tendency to band… it’s designed to produce signage 24 hours a day at low cost. Latex, eco solvent, uv… translation: sign printer. Our printers are designed to print artwork 8 hours a day, and there is simply nothing better. So weather we’re printing on vinyl, or canvas, or paper, your image looks perfect – every time.

Green Inks & Low Power
We use water-based pigment inks for all our wide format printing. These contain no toxic solvents or harsh chemicals, and the printer requires no high power lamps or heaters to run – in fact drawing as little power as an average lightbulb when printing. Latex printers use massive heaters to dry the ink - requiring 2 separate 220v circuits to operate. UV printers typically require high-power lamps that create toxic ozone levels. Traditional water based inks are the ultimate in Green printing – sign shops don’t use them due to high ink cost & lower outdoor durability, but for archival indoor printing they simply cannot be matched.

We have dozens of materials to choose from, including photo paper, canvas, watercolour paper,  glossy and matte synthetic papers, polyester fabrics, backlit films, clear film, window film, adhesive vinyl, wallpaper and more. We can also special-order media suited to your project.

Short Run Printing
We now offer short run printing in sizes up to 12″x18″. This output is a great value, and perfect for postcards, art cards, business cards, brochures, and PhotoBooks.
